General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

  1. Introduction and Identification These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the seller and the buyer in the Vranka Ceramics online shop.

  1. Nature of the Product (Handcrafted Art) All products are handmade. The buyer acknowledges that slight variations in shape, dimensions, texture or glaze colour are a natural characteristic of handmade work. Natural material variations (e.g. small dots in the glaze or slight asymmetry) that do not affect the functionality of the product are not considered defects.

  2. Order and Payment The purchase contract is concluded upon confirmation of the order by the seller (by email). Prices are stated in euros. I am not a VAT payer. We reserve the right to cancel an order in the event of a pricing error or unavailability of materials.

  3. Withdrawal from Contract (Returns) A customer who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.

  • Procedure: Please notify us at vranka.ceramics@gmail.com and return the item unused and securely packaged to our address.
  • Costs: The cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer. You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods if they are damaged during return due to inadequate packaging.
  • Refund: We will refund the payment within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal, but not before the goods have been physically returned to us or the buyer has provided proof of shipment.
  • Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to order or personalised according to the customer's specifications (e.g. ceramics with a name on request), or to gift vouchers and gift cards.

  1. Delivery Conditions and Receipt of Shipment We hand over goods to the carrier within 2–7 days. The buyer is required to check the integrity of the packaging upon receipt. If the shipment is visibly damaged, we recommend refusing delivery and filing a damage report with the courier, or reporting the damage to the carrier immediately. In the event of damage, please contact us as soon as possible, no later than 48 hours after delivery, and include photographs of both the packaging and the damaged item.

  2. Claims and Liability The warranty period for goods is 24 months. Ceramics is a fragile material; we are not liable for damage caused by improper use. In the event of damage during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the packaging and the damaged item.

  3. Dispute Resolution (ODR) Disputes may be resolved through alternative dispute resolution via the ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
